Joining a growing list of Huntington favorites, is the Patch Readers' Choice winner for Best Sporting Goods Store.
Tallying 26 percent of the vote, the longtime local sports retailer edged out Campsite Sports Shop of Huntington Station for the top spot in the weekly poll.
Store manager Michael DeSimone said it's very exciting to be recognized.
"We have a great following in Huntington and the surrounding areas and we like to think that we do a good job and make it a nice place to shop."
Located at 310 Main St. in the village, the store has been in business in Huntington for 20 years. There are 29 Lacrosse Unlimited locations in Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Virginia, Massachusetts and Maryland specializing in lacrosse equipment and apparel.
In recent weeks, , Choco Nail Salon and , have been named Readers' Choice favorites.
