Some of the events coming up this week around Huntington:

Fundraiser for St. Peter's Mission Team

Monday: California Pizza Kitchen is hosting a fundraiser for St. Peter's Mission Team. From 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., CPK will donate 20 percent of the bill for customers who present a flyer (attached). Funds will go to to the mission team to help cover costs of educational, medical and construction supplies needed for mission work in Costa Rica.

Hoda Kotb at the Book Revue

Wednesday: New York Times bestselling author and Today show co-anchor Hoda Kotb will speak and sign her new book, Ten Years Later: Six People Who Faced Adversity and Transformed Their Lives," at the 7:30 p.m.

Small Business Real Estate Seminar

Thursday: Renaissance Downtowns is sponsoring a community commercial real estate seminar for all Huntington Station business owners. The seminar will be held at the Huntington Station Public Library 6 to 8 p.m.

'Dollar a Day Boys' Documentary

Thursday: "Dollar-A-Day Boys" is a new 31-minute documentary about the Civilian Conservation Corps, a Depression-era program that gave over three million unemployed young men the chance to enroll in Army-run camps across the country and to do useful conservation work. It will be followed by a discussion with the filmmaker, Anthony DiFranco, whose father was a CCC veteran. 1 p.m. at the Huntington Public Library.
