Wine Tasting: Awesome Values from Portugal
Jose Maria da Fonseca “Twin Vines” Vinho Verde, Portugal
This is a light, crisp white with a slight sparkle made from native grape varietals: 50% Loureiro, 25% Trajadura, 20% Pedernã, and 5% Alvarinho. It offers fresh aromas of tropical fruit, lime, banana and melon together with floral notes; slightly spritzy and lively on the palate, with refreshing, balanced citrus fruit flavors.
Jose Maria da Fonseca Periquita, Setúbal, Portugal

Without a doubt, this is one of our staff favorites.... an awesome value and super food-friendly. There’s an earthy-strawberry thing going on on the nose, actually – dip those strawberries in dark chocolate – THAT’s what you get on the nose, and then it becomes figgy, plummy, earthy goodness on the palate.
***Always paired with gourmet cheeses***Always 10% off wines tasted***
