The Scarlet Letter, Contemporary and Classic

Cinema Arts Centre is presenting two versions of the classic Scarlet Letter story on Sunday and Tuesday.
At 5 p.m. Sunday, the center will show Easy A, a 2010 film starring Emma Stone about a girl who sees her life begin to parallel that of Hester Prynne’s after a little white lie about her virginity gets out.
At 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, the center's Anything But Silent series will  feature the 1926 classic The Scarlet Letter, starring screen legend Lillian Gish. The screening will be accompanied by live music.
Tickets are $12 for members and students, $20 for the public, for both showings.
