Nassau Pops at Heckscher Park

Nasssau Pops play in Heckscher Park July 10, 2011

The Nassau Pops Orchestra played to about 200 people at a free concert Sunday on the Harry Chapin Rainbow Stage.

Many in attendance to the Huntington Summer Arts Festival Concert brought picnic diners for the symphony concert conducted by Louis Panacciulli.

The orchestra set covered Broadway tunes, a salute to New York and a patriotic ode to the beauty of America, complete with a poetry reading and musical background.
