Last Chance: 'The Lion's Whiskers'

We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. Each week Huntington Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come.

On Tuesday, the Summer Arts Festival at in Huntington will feature "The Lion's Whiskers," a delightful adaptation by the Catskill Puppet Theater.

The family-friendly show features a traditional Ethiopian folktale with a charming cast of human characters and favorite African animals. The show features a multitude of masks and puppets ranging from three quarter life-sized to gigantic and is highlighted with shadow puppetry and original songs.

Showtime is 7:30 p.m. Admission is free.
