The Vanderbilt's new, full-dome, state-of-the-art, SkyLase laser-projection system has all-new shows featuring great music by legendary rock bands. A ticket for all four shows in the marathon is $30. The individual show-ticket price is $12. Tickets may be purchased at the door, or by calling the Vanderbilt at 631-854-5579.

One of the Vanderbilt Planetarium's most popular family programs, "Our Night Out: Story Time under the Stars," held beneath the Planetarium dome, will feature winter-themed stories on Sunday, December 19, at 6:00 p.m. In this multi-generational, one-hour program, huge pictures are projected on the dome under star-filled skies as stories are read. Admission is $6.00 per person. Reservations are strongly suggested, as this program frequently sells out. Please call 631-854-5579.

Telescope observation of the night sky is scheduled for Friday nights, 9-11 (weather permitting), except for Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve, December 24 and 31.
