Recycled Sculpture

Join us at Pulitzer and Panetta Creative Studio to create a recycled sculpture for the Create Something Great Contest.
http://www.portledge.org/createsomethinggreat

Yolanda Arias will work with the kids to guide them on the projects to enter in the contest. Kids are asked to create sculptures within the theme of nocturnal animals, such as bats, fireflies, owls, raccoons, skunks, hermit crabs or tarantulas. Sculptures should be constructed using primarily recycled and/or reusable materials, such as wood scraps, bottle caps, computer pieces. This workshop is a must for kids that would like to enter into the Create Something Great Sculpture contest OR even if they just want to create, have fun and learn how to make a recycled sculpture! They are welcome to bring any special items they would like to use in the sculpture. Start collecting!

Yolanda Arias is a painter and sculptor now living in Huntington. She studied art and sculpture under renowned Costa Rican Artist Gibran Tabash.
