Exploring Painting

Pulitzer & Panetta Creative Studio, Neighbor

Ages 8+

We will explore shapes and form by painting from still life and figures. Working with acrylics and watercolor, students will build upon what they have learned in previous workshops or start fresh if they haven't been with us before. 

We will work on canvas as we look at composition, color, brush strokes, shading and color mixing.  Looking at images from some of the great painters, kids will learn about the different styles and periods of painting through history including realism, expressionism, abstract and pop art.
