1. State Of The Chamber: Networking Breakfast

The will host its State Of The Chamber annual networking meeting from 7:30-10 a.m. today at Coindre Hall, located at 100 Browns Rd. in Huntington, from 7:30 a.m. until 10 a.m. The meeting includes a presentation, "Building Your Business: Effective Tools And Resources For Successful Business Networking & Relationships."

2. Shea To Answer South Huntington Budget Questions

South Superintendent Dr. Thomas Shea will have a special budget question and answer session for district residents at the South Huntington Public Library on Pidgeon Hill Rd. today at 10 a.m. The event is open to the public.

3. The Long Island Short Film Concert

An Evening of award-winning short films from the past and present selected from the world's top film festivals at the , 423 Park Ave., Huntington. Features a combo of comedy, drama and animation without competition. Fast paced and hilarious the films represent the current festival market and past award winners. Recommended for audiences over the age of 16.  Filmmaker's reception at 7:15 p.m.

4. Green Living Seminar

Learn how to make healthier choices for yourself, your family and the planet at a green-living workshop at the Melville branch of the Half Hollow Hills Library. Topics include the importance of organics, the health benefits of eating with the seasons, buying locally, and the deep connection that your everyday choices as consumers make on your health and the health of the planet. 7 p.m.

5. Whitman Boys Lacrosse Hosts Ward Melville

The boys lacrosse team hosts Ward Melville High School at 4:45 p.m. today at Walt Whitman High School, 301 W Hills Rd., Huntington Station.
