Sept. 18: Muster Drill; Jaguar Car Show

5 things you need to know today.

1. Caumsett Nature Program: There will be a for Beginners program in the western section of Caumsett State Historic Park from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.

2. Sunday Lighthouse Tours: Tours run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and leave from Gold Star Battalion Beach. Make reservations for groups of 10 or more.

3. Muster Drill Competition: The Greenlawn Fire Department will stage a Modified Junior Firefighter Muster Drill Competition Sunday. The will be held behind the Fire Department headquarters located at 23 Boulevard Ave., Greenlawn, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Open to all.

4. Benefit Party: The Lloyd Harbor Historical Society's 300th anniversary cocktail party of the founding of the Henry Lloyd Manor. Enjoy wine and hors d'oeuvres in the garden of the Joseph Lloyd Manor, chat with Master of Wine and author, Joe Bertuccio and tour this National historic museum with docents.

5. Jaguar Car Show: The Jaguar Driver’s Club of Long Island will hold its 38th Concours d’Elegance on Sunday at the Suffolk County Vanderbilt Museum from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. The club is expecting 40-50 entries. Shows are free to spectators with general museum admission: $7 adults, $6 students and seniors (62 and older), $3 children 12 and under.
