"From Moo to You"
at the Dairy Complex at Caumsett State Historic Park Preserve
How does milk get to your table? Combining math, science, and social studies, participants will learn the process from hay to milk and will meet the animal responsible for supplying this dairy product.
Once again, the Caumsett Foundation is pleased to welcome back Cornell Cooperative Extension's fabulous educational program featuring a live milking cow, ice cream making, and a site tour of the restored Dairy Complex at Caumsett. Group size limited to 30 people. This is an extremely popular program and reservations are required, a second program may be added at 12:00 if needed. This event will be run rain or shine.
