Celebration in Huntington Station

Second annual fair features music, food and fashion.

The second annual community fair sponsored by the Friends of Huntington Station Latin Quarter went on Saturday despite the drizzle. More than a score of organizations came out to support the event on New York Avenue.

The program included a fashion show, music, raffles, and visits by various candidates, including Town Board members Glenda Jackson and Susan Berland, and Dr. William Spencer, running for the 18th county legislative seat, as well as members of the Suffolk County Police Department offering community watch and safety information.

Ofice of Minority Health Director  Dr. Greg Piggot was there, along with representatives of the Long Island Lizards.
