Are We Ready for Bad Weather?

Rain from Tropical Storm Andrea drenches Huntington.

When rains propelled by Tropical Storm Andrea hit the area Friday night, the streets of Huntington quickly flooded.

West Jericho Turnpike, Route 110, Melville Road and other roads turned into pools of water, with drivers crawling through intersections, or in some cases, turning around to avoid the water.

Do you think Huntington is ready for another round of storms like the ones that hit last fall and winter?
