Actress and author Alicia Silverstone will appear at the Huntington Book Revue Tuesday at 7 p.m. to speak and sign her new pregnancy book, "The Kind Mama."
The book offers "a comprehensive and practical guide empowering women to take charge of their fertility, pregnancy, and first six months with baby," according to the Huntington Book Revue website.
Silverstone's book, according to its promotional materials, is based on the advice of advice based obstetricians, midwives, nutritionists, holistic health counselors, her own experience and more.

The title "reap[s] the benefits of raising some of the healthiest, most well-adjusted babies on the planet," Silverstone writes on thekindmama.com. "Imagine a colic-free, fuss-free first few months.”
