Patch congratulates the following Huntington-area students for their accomplishments during the fall 2011 semester at colleges and universities throughout the nation:

• Myles Joseph Drance of Huntington has been inducted into the Colgate chapter of Phi Eta Sigma, the national scholastic honorary society that recognizes the outstanding academic achievement of first-year students.
• The University of Hartford announced that Maria Becerra and Sarah Biniasz of Huntington Station have been named to the dean's list for fall 2011.
• Erin McGoldrick of Huntington was placed on the Gettysburg College dean's honor list in fall 2011.
• The College of New Jersey placed Conor Greene of Huntington, and Kaitlin Shepherd, Jill Grennan and Alyson Darrow of Huntington Station on the dean's list for Fall 2011.
• Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn., announced Allyson Nevins and Melissa Hill of Huntington; and Ambryel Amira and Kaihla Rettinger of Huntington Station have made the dean's list for fall 2011.
• Greta Johnson of Huntington was named to dean's list at Saint Michael's College in Burlington, Vermont.
• Navah Stein of Huntington was named to dean's list at the University of Vermont for the fall 2011 semester.
• Wilkes University in Wlkes-Barre, Penn., announced Corissa Colletta, of Huntington Station, made the dean's list for fall 2011.
• James Schuster, of Huntington, was among over 1800 students from Wake Forest University who made the fall 2011 dean's list in Winston-Salem, N.C.
• Margaret Kiernan, a first-year student from Huntington, has been named to the fall 2011 dean's list at St. Bonaventure University in St. Bonaventure, N.Y.
• The University of Scranton in Pennsylvania annouced Michelle D'Allesandro of Huntington made the dean's list for fall 2011.
• A large number of area students have been named to the University of Delaware's dean's list for fall 2011. Those students include from Huntington: Kim Colvin; Kristin Fretz; Meghan Rowland, Taylor Fritts; Jacob Goldblatt; Matthew Grasso; Justin Greenidge; Kimberly Inocco; Kristen Inocco; Kristen Inocco; Caitlin Kaufman; Shayne Larkin; Melissa Luxemberg; Melissa Luxemberg; Kyra McAndrew; Gregory Nigro; Kevin Schmitz; Sonika Seth; Isabel Sorrentino; Alanna Tieman; Taylor Wiggin;  and Allyson Zabransky.
