Welcome to PREGNANT MARE RESCUE – a sanctuary dedicated to rehabilitating and re-homing abused and mistreated horses to forever dwellings where they will be genuinely cherished and loved. Pregnant mares and orphaned foals from all over the nation are protected at Pregnant Mare Rescue. In almost twelve years, PMR has rescued, rehabilitated and rehomed over 245 horses. In our care, the spirit of the horse is protected, alive and well.

PREGNANT MARE RESCUE, a non-profit, advocates in support of the humane treatment of all horses. We strive to educate the public of the horrific cruelties and ill treatment toward equines that exist today. Whether it be the abuses and dirty little secrets of the horse racing industry, our dwindling mustang herds suffering eradication from public lands or the abuses pregnant mares and foals endure in order to support the production of the drug PREMARIN, PMR works tirelessly to shed light on these atrocities and save equine lives.
