Oscar winner makes a stop at the Book Revue Thursday.
We've seen hundreds of events come and go in the community, but how often does one pass you by that you wish you hadn't missed out on? That's where we come in. Each week Huntington Patch will post a quick reminder about the events, activities or important tasks whose deadlines have come. On Thursday, stop by and see actor Billy Bob Thornton and author Kinky Friedman at the Book Revue at 7 p.m. The pair will be signing copies of their book "The Billy Bob Tapes: A Cave Full of Ghosts." The book is a narrative based on late-night conversations between Thornton and Friedman. Thornton won an Acedemy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay for Slingblade.

Actor in Huntington to promote new memoir.
Actor Ryan O'Neal, best known for is role as Rodney Harrington in the 1960's TV show Payton Place, made a special appearance at the Book Revue in Huntington to sign copies of his new book "Both of Us, My life with Farrah," a memoir about his relationship with actress Farrah Fawcett. There was a strong turn out of local residents and fans eager to meet O'Neal and get their book signed. O'Neal didn't talk to the press, but we caught up with some local residents who stopped in to meet him.
