Being of Persian descent, I've had my share of jujeh kebab and pilaf over my lifetime. Fact is, Ravagh is as close to home cooking as it gets. All the kebabs I've had there, from the previously mentioned jujeh, the juicy barg and flavorful koobideh (or luleh) have been perfectly prepared. The boneless, chicken kebab is good, but can be a bit dry, stick to the jujeh instead.
My favorite dish is the Ghourmeh Sabzi, which is a beef stew w/beans and dried lemons. It tastes exactly how my family would prepare it.
They haven't yet had sambusehs when I've gone there, but that's okay. Their other apps and salads, especially the argula salad are well prepared and it solid quantities.
Is Ravagh the best, new restaurant in Huntington??? No tahdiggity!!
