Cassis is on one of the more posh restaurants in Huntington, seeking to recreate the French bistro feel on Long Island. We had our Holiday luncheon the first week in Jan. Salmon was great.Service could have been better but we were a large group.Can't go wrong with this choice.
I highly highly recommend this restaurant for so many reasons. The ambiance makes you feel like you are in a cafe in Paris. Been to France, so I can honestly say it does the trick. The food is always excellent, consistently wonderful, healthy, delicious. Their lunch and dinner menus are always top notch. Service is attentive. Relaxed yet sophisticated atmosphere. Just love going here!
Frankly, my words mean nothing and they will not do justice on how awesome Cassis truly is. Just go there tonight or tomorrow for lunch, or both.
I had my first experience at Cassis on New Years Eve. On a evening when the service could have been lacking due to the volume of business, we all had a great experience. The french onion soup was one of the best I've ever had. The salmon was seasoned well and the lamb shank was tasty and tender. I would defiantly highly recommend Cassis.
Excellent restaurant. Pricey, but you can get good deals at lunch.
