Streets to Close for Columbus Day Parade
Sons of Italy parade to go on during Long Island Fall Festival.
Suffolk police have issued an advisory about road closings and detours because of the Columbus Day parade.
The parade Sunday will run between noon and 3 p.m. Parts of Route 25A, Route 110, Park Avenue. Surrounding streets will be closed to vehicular traffic for the duration of the parade.
In the accompanying map, all streets within the light blue and dark blue detours will be closed during the parade on Sunday.
