Legendary pop artist Peter Max will be at the Book Revue at 7 p.m. Tuesday to discuss his new book, The Universe According to Peter Max. 

Back for Second Round on Jeopardy!
Patrick Dillon, a 2000 Whitman graduate who teaches in the Manhasset school system, returns for the next round on Jeopardy! Tuesday at 7 p.m. He won $26,702 in the first round of the teachers tournament on the ABC-TV game show.

Hornsby and Skaggs at the Paramount
Bruce Hornsby and Ricky Skaggs will perform Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the Paramount. 

Grand Reopening Ceremony at Whitman Mall

Walt Whitman Shops plans a grand reopening ceremony Thursday to mark completion of 18 months of renovation and expansion. The reopening will start at 9:30 a.m. with a ribbon-cutting and unveiling of a new bronze statue of the poet Walt Whitman.

Smart Growth Conference

A host of political and business leaders will meet Friday for Vision Long Island's annual summit. The session runs from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Melville Marriott and will explore such topics as emerging businesses, post-Sandy rebuilding, revitalizing downtowns and more.
