Coming Up: Harbor, Village Holiday Parades

What's happening around the Town of Huntington this week.

Sports Night at Whitman
It's senior-faculty sports night at Walt Whitman High School Monday at 7 p.m.

Parades on Friday, Saturday
Everyone loves a parade and this weekend in Huntington, there's a chance to see two of them.
First up is the Huntington Harbor Parade of Lights, with dozens of brightly lit, holiday-themed boats moving through the harbor Friday starting at 6 p.m. The parade is a fundraiser for the Huntington Lighthouse.

Not to be outdone, a street parade on Saturday will leave the Big H center area at 6:30 p.m., march north to Main Street and end on West Neck Road. A street fair follows on Wall Street.

Townwide Fund's Thanksgiving Day Run

The 28th Annual Four Mile Thanksgiving Day Run will begin at the American Legion Post 360 in Halesite.  The 1K fun run begins at 8:30 a.m. and the four- mile run at 9.
