Town Board, Writers Group

It's a new month but the same old weather.

1. The Writers Group at the   has openings for new members. The group meets Tuesdays from 10 a.m. until noon.

2. Keep an eye out for our first Whiz Kid feature on a young astronomy star, coming Wednesday.

3. Today's the blood drive at sponsored by the Huntington School District. Staff members and community residents are encouraged to participate in the drive, which runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

4. The is meeting tonight at 7. 

5. AARP volunteers will be at the South Huntington Public Library to help seniors with their tax returns. Only electronic returns will be prepared. Taxpayers should bring pertinent paperwork with them, including last year's return. Meet volunteers on the Lower Level. First come, first served.
