Huntington Lighthouse Turns 100 Saturday

Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society Cuts Cake; big birthday party for tonight

The Huntington Lighthouse Preservation Society cut a cake this morning to celebrate the Huntington Lighthouse's 100th birthday. The big moment is tonight at 8:42pm when the light house light will go on exactly 100 years to the moment it was first lit in 1912. The fog horn will sound and the preservation society is asking all boats in the area to toot their horns in a salute to the Lighthouse at that time!

Tickets to the celebration party are still available, check out http://www.huntingtonlighthouse.org/
