Chapin Food Bank Fundraiser Set

Sen. Carl Marcelino to participate in fundraising event March 3.

The Hearts For Hunger Legislative Food Challenge is set for March 3 at the Huntington Walbaum's.

Joining the Harry Chapin Food Bank fundraiser will be Sen. Carl Marcellino. The state legislator will be on hand at the store, located at 60 Wall Street in Huntington, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“In times of pressing need – whether a family member has recently lost their job or your paycheck just isn’t covering the rising cost of food it’s clear we need to work together to make sure the food pantries are stocked and able to provide help,” said Marcellino, in a press release. “I ask that you help us help those in need by dropping off a food item, it will be greatly appreciated.”
