Birthday Wishes Celebrates 3 Years of Service to LI Homeless

Non-profit group helps needy kids throw birthday parties.

Birthday Wishes, a non-profit organization that throws birthday parties for homeless kids, recently celebrated three years of service to Long Island with a volunteer appreciation day event in Huntington May 31.

Located in Huntington at 400 W. Jericho Turnpike, the organization helps provide birthday party's to hundreds of homeless children in 17 shelters that span the Island – from Hempstead to the Hamptons.

With service to more than 24,000 homeless children living in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, New Hampshire and Long Island during the last 10 years, the Birthday Wishes volunteer-based program hopes to expand further into other states, while maintaining the grassroots culture it was founded upon.

Maybe 4 for $100 or 2 for $60. They were looked at by a store owner who wanted to purchase and sell in her store for $50 each. They are very cute, very trendy :)

I would love to become part of the Huntington Chamber of Commerce. However, for a new business itRead More is costly and may not fit into every new business owners budget. May I suggest a provisional 1-year membership at a reduced cost. Once successful the provisional members can give back by supporting other new members.
