Berland, Others Help Beautify Gold Star Battalion Beach

Councilwoman Susan A. Berland continued her annual “Keep Huntington Beautiful” campaign on Saturday by hosting a gardening event at Gold Star Battalion Beach in Huntington. 

Volunteers planted flowers in various spots around the beach and were treated to pizza, courtesy of Juniors Pizza of Huntington. 

 “I really enjoy the ‘Keep Huntington Beautiful’ events,” said Berland.  “We had great weather for planting and had a wonderful time gardening.  I would like to thank each and every volunteer who dedicated their Saturday morning to beautifying Gold Star Battalion Beach and to Juniors Pizza for providing the delicious pizza.”
