Today South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham announced his endorsement of my run for the U.S. Congress.
In a statement released to my Campaign, Senator Graham said, “Stephen Labate is an Iraq War veteran who served our country with honor and distinction. As an Army Reserve Lieutenant Colonel, Steve is a leader who understands how to take the fight to the enemy and keep our country safe.”
“We need more leaders in Congress, like Stephen Labate, who are willing to put the needs of country above their own personal interests. I’m proud to support Steve’s candidacy for the House of Representatives in Congressional District 3.”
I am humbled to have the support of one of this country’s most senior political leaders. Senator Graham and I share a bond, as we are both Field Grade Officers in the U.S. military, and we both have a passion for serving and defending our country. I am so thankful for his support.
