A Solemn Day of Remembrance

On this solemn day we remember the evil intent of those that attacked us and the incredible bravery of those who confronted them.

On this solemn day we remember the evil intent of those that attacked us and the incredible bravery of those who confronted them. We owe a debt of gratitude to the first responders and uniformed personnel that we can never repay. Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it. God bless those that perished on 9-11, those who continue to suffer and may God Bless the United States of America.

I am glad you mentioned the uniformed personnel. The National Guard slept in tents near South Street Seaport in the fall of 2001 and are still stationed around the city. The New York City Police Department has a crack anti-terror unit that has kept us safe for the past 11 years.
I am glad you mentioned the ones who suffered on that horrific day. I have a Muslim friend who lost her husband. He was in Tower 2, and stayed behind when his colleagues evacuated, making sure everyone else got out. He was in the building when it fell. Many other good and decent people lost their lives that day, and left big holes in their families. It doesn't matter what religion they practiced, or where they were born, or whether their skin was light or dark. They were all good people.

The word HERO says it all. Those who perished we will never forget. Those who lost their live, trying to save others we will never forget. I have Flag in front of my house, 365 day a year. Honor them all through out the year.

The innocent lives that were lost on this day is a great tragedy. I'll remember it forever. Although I was 2 miles from the WTC when it fell and will never forget the ground shaking and the silver-like particles falling from the sky all around us.

Usually cats stay within a few houses of home Sometimes they just hunker down under a neighbor'sRead More shed or deck. He is more likely to come to you at night when there aren't as many lawn mower sounds. Walk around with a can of the stinkiest cat food that you can find. Call to him, and listen for a response. He may answer you with soft meows. Make a trail of stinky cat food to your door and leave the can at the door overnight. Hang up signs with a photo in the neighborhood. Go door to door and tell neighbors to call you if they see him. Kids playing, and dog walkers might spot him. Once you have an idea, of where he is, you can use a have a heart trap to catch him, if he won't come to you. Some cats get so scared when they get out, that they don't recognize their humans. We have had cats disappear for months, before trapping them.

We've checked with authorities on this and they say there were no major injuries. While we try toRead More get to every serious accident, we're not going to be able to cover everything that happens 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
