St. Anthony’s senior Chris Bacon Jr. helped bring a National Wheelchair Basketball Association Junior Eastern Conference championship home to Long Island.
Bacon, whose father is president of the Greater Long Island Wheelchair Athletic Club, is a member of the Long Island Lightning, which topped the Bennett Blazers, 40-38, Saturday to capture the conference title.
Bacon, of Dix Hills, recently committed to play adaptive basketball at the University of Alabama.
