Schreiber a Tewaaraton Finalist

St. Anthony's graduate Tom Schreiber takes star turn for Princeton lacrosse.

Former St. Anthony’s sports star Tom Schreiber has been named one of five finalists for college lacrosse’s top honor, the Tewaaraton Trophy.

Schreiber, a junior midfield at Princeton, is in the running with former Smithtown West standout Rob Pannell (Cornell), North Carolina’s Marcus Holman, Albany’s Lyle Thompson and Syracuse’s JoJo Marasco. The Tewaaraton will be awarded May 30.

Schreiber is already the school’s all-time leading scorer among midfielders with 169 points. The East Meadow native had 28 goals and 32 assists this season, leading Princeton to a 9-6 record and trip to the Ivy League championship game.
