The Tornadoes' Kasey Stolba's goal and three assists power team to 4-1 victory.

Harborfields halted Whitman's efforts to put together a two-game field hockey winning streak Wednesday, closing the door on the Wildcats, 4-1. The Tornadoes' Kasey Stolba was involved in all four of Harborfields' goals, while Whitman co-captain Haley Danzig kept the Wildcats from being shut out, scoring with two minutes left in the game.

Hero: Stolba scored one of Harborfields' goals and assisted on the other three as the Tornadoes boosted their record to 6-1 in Division I play.

Turning Point: Harborfields freshman goalie Liz Berkery saved a stroke in the first half to hold off Whitman and keep the momentum going.

Quotable: "One of our team motto's this year is finish," Harborfields coach Lauren Desiderio said. "Last season, we had difficulty getting the ball in the net. This season, we have worked really hard on creating scoring opportunities and capitalizing on them. Our hard work and continued improvement showed in our game today."

"A major setback for us was the loss of Anna Robinson, our senior center mid, in the first half," Whitman coach Karen Schmitt said. "Field dynamics were off after she left the game with an injury. With a 2-5 record, Whitman should not be counted out."

Key Stat: Harborfields had 12 shots on goal; Whitman had six.
