Playoff Football: Stepinac vs. St. Anthony's

Top-seeded faces No. 2 Stepinac in the CHSFL Class AAA championship game Friday night at Mitchel Athletic Complex in Uniondale.

The Friars (9-0) are two-time defending Catholic league football champions and own a 28-game winning streak, the second longest in Suffolk history.

St. Anthony's had it's highest scoring output of the season when it faced Stepinac (8-2) in Westchester in Week 5. The and racked up 448 yards.

With the win Friday night, St. Anthony's Coach Rich Reichert can tie Joe Cipp Jr. (Bellport) as the winningest coach in Suffolk football history. Reichert has 210 wins in 25 seasons. 

The Friars advanced to the big game with a in the semifinals.
