Huntington Fencing Relay Carnival

The Huntington High School fencing team hosts its annual Huntington Fencing Relay Carnival starting at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 22, at the high school.

This is the team’s annual fundraiser and brings all 8 teams in Suffolk County as well as a squad from Concord-Carlisle High School in Massachusetts. There will be more than 330 athletes competing in the tournament.

Refreshments will be on sale throughout the day. Fencing will start at 9 a.m., with strips set up in the gym and school cafeterias for all three weapons -- epee, saber and foil. The championship bouts will take place in the gym in late afternoon.
