2011 St. Patrick's Run
The Townwide Fund's annual St. Patrick's Day fun run and 4-mile race are scheduled for Saturday, March 19. This year the start and finish are at the American Legion Post 360 at the corner of Mill Dam Road and Rt. 110.
Rain or shine, the fun run starts at 8:30 a.m. and the 4-mile race begins at 9 a.m. Fees are $18 for the 4-mile race ($25 after March 14) and $6 for the fun run.
The event is sponsored by the Townwide Fund of Huntington, which was founded in 1961 by a group of private citizens who wanted to help local charities raise funds. It helps bridge the gap between dwindling government support for local charities and the increasing needs of residents.

There will be a pre-race check in at the Super Runners Shop, 355 New York Ave. (Rte 110), Huntington, on March 18th only from 10 a.m. to 8:15 p.m.
