Duke U. LAX Goalie from Huntington Bay Suspended for 2010 Season

Junior Sean Brady has been suspended for the upcoming season for "conduct unbecoming of a member of the program."

When Duke University's regular season begins Saturday, Feb. 20 vs. Notre Dame, junior goalkeeper from Huntington Bay Sean Brady will not be part of the team.

Brady has been suspended for the season for conduct unbecoming of a member of the program, according to a press release issued by Duke.

Reasons for the suspension were not outlined in the school's press release but comments in a Lacrosse Magazine reader's forum noted that it was due to academic ineligibility.

"It's an unfortunate situation," Coach John Danowski said in that magazine. "Our hope is that Sean can return after the year, but for now, it's not possible. We never give up on anybody."
