The Whitman homecoming parade took to Jericho Turnpike for the first time Saturday ahead of the football game against Copiague. In addition to students, the Whitman and Stimson bands, several political leaders, school administrators, veterans, Scouts and others joined in. The parade went from the high school to Jericho and then back into the side streets before returning to Whitman.
