State Education Commissioner John B. King Jr. is meeting with more than a dozen local superintendents, Board of Education and teacher union representatives Thursday afternoon at Huntington High School.
Representatives from Elwood, Northport, Huntington, South Huntington and other schools are expected to participate.
He's also taking questions at a forum at Whitman High School Thursday morning that includes parents, students and others.
