S. Huntington to Offer Concussion Seminar

Wright to outline program to safeguard athletes.

South Huntington parents are invited to a March 4 meeting on the South Huntington Concussion Management Program.

The program will be presented by Dr. James Wright, district athletic director, and is supported by a grant from Dick’s Sporting Goods. District parents will be able to register for a baseline report on their children, free as part of the grant.

Wright has been a panelist and presenter on the subject for several organizations, including the New York State Athletic Administrators Association.

The program is scheduled for 7-9 p.m. at Whitman High School.
