Families in the South Huntington school district turned out Sunday for a gorgeous day of fun and fundraising for the schools.
Sponsored by the South Huntington Education Foundation, the daylong event featured swimming, waterslides, food and games. The foundation raises money to fund programs not covered by the regular school budget, said Charles T. Ciravolo, SHEF president, including technology such as smartboards and iPads.
