Registration For Adult Education Opens

If you're looking to widen your horizons, improve your employment prospects or learn to be a safer driver, the school districts have you covered.

Enrollment by mail is underway in South Huntington and Huntington, with walk-in registration starting Wednesday night in Huntington.

Here's a small sampling of classes. For more details, see the brochures attached to this article.

If you feel the need to knit, South Huntington is offering an intermediate class on Wednesdays.

Does your debt get you down? There's a session on living a debt-free lifestyle, Mondays.

A one-night seminar will look at changes in Medicare, Nov. 13.

In Huntington, there's a beginner's Italian class on Wednesdays. 

A one-day class in CPR and first aid for children is set for Thursday Sept.27.

And a session in how to break into doing voiceovers is scheduled for Oct.1.

The districts are also offering GED, citizenship and ESL classes.
