NASA Invites St. Anthony's Rocketeers

High schoolers compete against MIT and others at NASA rocket launch in Alabama.

The St. Anthony’s Rocket Club has a launch date with NASA.

Eight members of the student organization have been invited to take part in NASA’s Student Launch Project Saturday at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Ala.

The St. Anthony’s team was one of 16 high schools nationally – and the lone school from the Northeast – to earn a spot alongside 60 colleges, including MIT. The students will launch an eight-foot tall rocket to 5,280 feet and bring a payload back safely.
