What's happening this week in Huntington and South Huntington Schools Districts

Huntington School District #3

Thursday, March 10: The Huntington PTA council and the Huntington School District's guidance department are co-hosting a "guidance roundtable" at 10 a.m. about programs and requirements to gain a better understanding of the opportunities, expectations and responsibilities of every high school student.

Bari Fehrs, president of the Huntington PTA Council, is encouraging parents to turn-out for the morning get-together in the high school college counseling center. "This will be one of those meetings worth the time to attend," she said about the roundtable discussion. "There will be an informal discussion about what the guidance department can do to help parents and students navigate through high school to graduation and college."
