Internships for Special-Needs Training

The Adler Center for Special Needs Mid-Island Y Jewish Community Center on 45 Manetto Hill Road in Plainview has internship positions available for students interested in special needs education training. 

 The Consortia for Learning and Service to Special Populations (CLASSP) is a year-long internship designed to provide select high school students with the skills to work with children with special needs. 

Upon completion of the program, students receive one college credit from Long Island University - C.W. Post and a stipend.
