Tracing Early African Americans in Huntington

In commemoration of the 300th birthday of Jupiter Hammon, America's first published African American poet, there will be a lecture tracing early African American family histories in Huntington.

The talk will be given by Rex Metcalf at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 21, at the David Conklin Barn, 2 High St., Huntington. Refreshments will be offered at 1:30 p.m.
