At 1 p.m., children ages 4-6 (with an adult) can sit under a tree at Manor Farm and listen to a story and then do a related activity.

In 1998 residents of the town approved an Open Space Referendum for the town to purchase some of its dwindling open space. Manor Farm, purchased in March of 2000, was the first acquisition under this program.

Manor Farm is 5.1 acres along Manor Road, just north of Jericho Turnpike. Berkeley Jackson County Park is along its south and eastern sides; additional town parkland comprises the northern border.
