There will be a chicken BBQ and health fair on Saturday, July 30, at the Huntington-Cold Spring Harbor United Methodist Church.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., there will be free health awareness workshops and screenings at the church.
From 3 to 6 p.m. there will be a chicken bbq. The cost for the bbq is $10 adults, $5 for children.

At the health fair, all screenings will be free. The event is open to the community.

- A specialist from the Commission on the Public Health System (CPHS) will speak in regards to Medicaid and Communities.
- The Rev. Dr. Clyde Anderson from CPRHE will speak; topic to be determined
- There will be a presentation on "women's heart attack symptoms and dialing 911"

-- Screening for cognitive decline.

-- Information on following a low-salt diet
-- Information about smoking cessation

-- Information on healthy diet

-- Understanding sunscreen
-- How to do a monthly skin exam
-- Are you up to date on recommended cancer screening
-- Information about recommended cancer screening
Preventing Falls
-- Sensory changes due to aging and how this increases your risk for falling
-- Handout on what you can do to prevent falls.
The bbq cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children.
