2 School Trustees Won't Run Again

Four others, including Dwyer, are running for two spots.

Incumbents Richard McGrath and John Paci II won't be on the  ballot in May, choosing not to run again for Huntington school board.

Paci, the board vice president, and McGrath both decided against submitting petitions in time for Monday's deadline for the May 21 ballot.

"The thing I will remember most is the kids, no better feeling than being even a small part of helping kids," McGrath said of his tenure.

Four others, former board president William Dwyer, Bari Fehrs, Deniqua Crichlow and Jennifer Mosden, are running.

The Huntington school board adopted its $114-million budget a week ago, with Paci and McGrath voting against it.
