It astonishes me that Petrone, Berland and Cuthbertson gave Frank a raise, while reducing pay for other Town of Huntington workers. And... Frank voted for the raise, for himself! Not even recusing from the vote. All of the "Progressive" voters "for the people" are still voting for this guy after that maneuver.

Time for Petrone to go. William Naughton also needs to go. That department needs to be turned upside down and cleaned out. I watched the highway department send 5 men, a backhoe, a dump truck and a cherry picker to trim some branches from a tree. When I had to remove a huge tree on my property 2 guys disposed of it in one hour. I watched a town crew remove a smaller tree that was dead and it took them 4 hours. What a waste.

Highway note - the guys from the Oakwood garage are always parked on Locust Ct, hiding out at the end of the day, sometimes for half an hour or more so they don't have to clock out early before quitting time. Another waste of our money. Happens everyday. Petrone and Cuthbertson need to go, if for nothing else, how rudely they treat townspeople at meetings. They have no respect for the taxpayers. Both have taken advantage for far too many years now, profiting at our expense.

Yeah a couple of them hide out by us too. Usually mid-morning like 10am or so, then sometimes again at lunch time.

William Naughton failed the residents during superstorm sandy and needs to be voted out of office. He refused to meet residents that went to town hall or respond to e-mails or phone messages. It's time for a change. Please get out and vote!

Voter apathy is rampant. Petrone, Cutberthson and Naughton all need to go. They have been in office way to long and are a perfect reason why we should have term limits! However sadly all 3 of these jokers will be re elected.

The 100 he puts in is his age maybe?

I remember a Newsday piece a few years ago that explained how Naughton had his crew repave a section of road for $100,000 only to have it torn apart by National Grid a couple weeks later. Our Hwy Dept shouldn't be some old fashioned Chicago politics make-work scam for the unions.

I'll probably vote for Gunther. I do enjoy the infighting between Petrone and Naughton (anyone who gives Petrone a hard time gets kudos from me). But maybe we can still have that check on Petrone with a younger man.
